It can be difficult to find K2 Granite, because mining it is so difficult! This stone is also known as K2 Jasper, but this is a misnomer as the stone is really a form of granite.
The look of K2 Granite beads are extremely unique. This stone combines a mottled white-grey granite, black or dark grey biotite grains, and circular stains of blue azurite and green malachite. The presence of azurite and malachite are believed to be from copper deposits. Many see this stone and assume K2 Granite is dyed, but this is a natural-hued gem!
