Like freshly blooming lilacs and orchids, Phosphosiderite gemstone beads are vibrant and springy. Phosphosiderite (aka “The Phos” at Lima Beads HQ) has a unique light magenta to violet color, sprinkled with golden streaks. We keep selling out of this beauty - perhaps because gemstones this color are rare!
Phosphosiderite was named for some of its component minerals - Phosphate and Iron. The Greek word for Iron is Sideros. It belongs to the Metavariscite mineral group. Phosphosiderite is often found in South Dakota and Germany.
It is said that Phosphosiderite can be utilized to calm stress, and has association with the Third Eye Chakra.
