When I saw the pendant links from Liz at Saki Silver, I was excited. There are so many possiblities for what you can string or dangle inside of one of these. I chose a combination of 2 colors of Irish waxed linen to knot and string with beads.
Gather your materials that you've chosen for your design.
Cut seven 8" lengths of Irish waxed linen. Double over the waxed linen and knot onto the inner loop of the your pendant.
Knot the Irish waxed linen and string on various beads. I recommend laying your piece flat, as it will keep you from having a piece of Irish waxed linen be too long.
String the leather through top loop and secure using a 2' length of Irish waxed linen. Create an overhand knot with the Irish waxed linen around the leather cord. Wrap the Irish waxed linen around the the leather in opposing directions for about 8mm.
Once you have wrapped the Irish waxed linen around both cords, split the cords and knot the Irish waxed linen in-between. Take one tail of Irish waxed linen and wrap around one side of the leather cord, repeating this for the other side.
String the ends of leather cord through the slide or large hole tube in opposing directions. Once you decide how long you want your necklace to be able to adjust to, tie a couple overhand knots at the ends of each cord and trim the excess.
