The different types of black Czech glass make for a very interesting selection, especially when designing on the darker side. I added in a "zombie" green for the stringing material to give it a subtle pop. The Halloween TierraCast charms in gunmetal are the perfect finishing touch... just tie on a few with the remaining waxed linen, or even add in a touch of silk string.
The products used in this project are listed below.
Begin your bracelet by stringing a chunky table cut nugget or button, knotting it in place with an overhand knot.
String several beads onto the doubled-over waxed linen. I like to string on a few at a time, then decide where to knot, then string on some more.
Knot in-between your beads. This gives a nice pop of color while at the same time allowing your bracelet to bend nicely around your wrist.
Once you have all of your beads knotted onto the bracelet, you need to begin creating the structure for your loop. I did this by knotting over and over again using the same strand for the core strand. Knot for about an inch.
Fold your loop structure over to see if the bead will fit through. If it does, then knot around the base of the loop as shown in the photo. Do this a few times to make sure everything is secure.
Now it's time to add the charms. Using the tails of waxed linen from your loop, tie on 1 or 2 charms. Cut 4" off your silk string and knot that at the base of the loop. Tie on another charm or 2 using that and you're done!
