Project details:

These highly reflective lights look great with a little added embellishment or on their own. I chose to create a bib combining wrapped and un wrapped spikes. This combination is shown using 7 spikes, however, you could achieve the same affect using 4 or 5 spikes.

Step 1

Bind 3 spikes around the middle using a hand dyed silk ribbon. Once you have the ribbon wrapped and securely knotted, gently slip down the spike and apply a touch of adhesive in a few spots where it will be covered by the ribbon.

String the spikes onto the 2.5mm suede round cord.

Once all the spikes are strung, secure them by knotting at either end.

To finish the necklace, decide on your length. I recommend keeping it short, but not choker short.
