African Bead Bag Charms

Step 1

Using a jump ring, attach four links of the chain to the swivel lobster clasp.

Step 2

Using a headpin and beads of your choice, make 6-7 bead links. Using jump rings, attach the bead links and tassels to the chain links.

Step 3

For an alternate version, attach ribbon ends to the chevron hemp ribbon and attach the two ends together with a jump ring. Before putting the hemp into the ribbon end, apply a bit of glue to the hemp so the ends don't unravel.

Step 4

Attach a larger jump ring to the ribbon ends and attach the bead link charms to the jump ring.

Step 5

To make the leather cord dangle with African brass, string 4 brass rice beads onto 1' of leather cord, make a loop and tie a knot.

Step 6

Next, slide on the large brass rice bead, and tie a knot above it, leaving an inch of extra cord on both sides.

Step 7

Finish by attaching leather cord ends and connecting them with a jump ring.
