For this design, I made three separate pieces with Czech glass & seed beads & attached them together to create a simple focal necklace.
String two pieces of wire (each about 4" long) through a Czech Glass Briolette bead.
On the two centermost wires, string on a pink 6/0 seed bead & a grapefruit 6/0 seed bead. On the rightmost wire, string on a gold spacer, a briolette, another gold spacer, and a pink seed. Repeat on the left side.
Bring all the wires together and twist them. Make a loop using the round nose pliers and trim off the excess wire.
Repeat steps 1-3 to make another focal. These two focals will be the two outermost focal pieces on the necklace. To make the center piece, the only difference is after you bring the pieces of wire together (step 3), slide on another grapefruit 6/0 seed bead, twist the wire, make a loop, and bend the loop down so its flat against the top of the seed bead.
Place a drop of glue on the beads (see the picture) to attach them together.
Use a jump ring to attach a 7.5" piece of chain to both sides of the necklace. Cut the chain about an inch up from the focal. Cut the jump rings in the middle of the brass crystal chain so you have three separate crystal links. Make bead links with the grapefruit seed beads and attach them directly to the brass crystal links. Repeat on the other side of the necklace and attach the rest of the gold chain to the links.
