For this design, I used a mix of seed beads, gemstones, and Czech glass to create this long-length layered necklace. I really love the way the gold accents look alongside the reds & pinks!
For the shorter necklace, I used 18" of beading wire. Slide one end through the loop of a clasp and secure with a crimp tube. Slide on the beads in the order shown in the picture. I placed a 6mm, 21 gauge jump ring on each gold coin charm and slid them onto the wire. Finish by making a loop at the end of the wire and securing with a crimp tube.
For the second necklace, begin with a 5" piece of beading wire. Make a loop at one end and secure with a crimp tube. Slide on the beads in the order shown in the picture (beginning with the seed bead & ending with the gold spacer). Make a loop at the other and & secure with a crimp. Use a jump ring to attach the tassel to the bottom loop on the wire.
Next, attach a 13" piece of wire to the top loop from step 2 and secure with a crimp tube. Slide the beads on in the order shown. Repeat on the other side of the necklace. At the ends, loop the wire through a toggle clasp & secure with a crimp.
