When I first saw these new mood beads, I instantly knew that I wanted to make a simple choker with them- inspired by the 90's trend! For this design, I paired the mood bead with Czech glass, seed beads, and gemstones.
Begin with a piece of beading wire about 4" long and two 5" pieces of chain (this is the length of chain I used for a choker-length necklace, If you'd like a longer necklace, you'll need to use more chain). Slide a crimp tube onto one end of the wire. Slide the wire through the bottom link of chain and back down through the crimp tube. Clamp the crimp tube down with pliers. Trim off the excess wire. Place a crimp cover over the tube. Slide the beads onto the wire in the order shown in the picture. I used seed beads, Czech glass, gemstones, and silver beads. See the materials list below for the exact beads I used.

Finish by sliding a crimp tube onto the other end of the wire. Slide the wire through the bottom link of chain and back down through the crimp tube. Clamp the crimp tube down with pliers. Trim off the excess wire. Place a crimp cover over the tube. The length of beading wire I ended up with is approx. 3". Finish by attaching a lobster clasp & jump ring to the ends of the chain.
