Inspired by the Pantone colors of the year- Ultimate Gray & Illuminating- I paired labradorite with yellow opal and added some pops of color here & there for this layered necklace design.
Using the 24 gauge wire, make bead links (connecting the links directly to each other) with the labradorite drops, yellow opal, fancy jasper rondelles, and the amazonite rondelles. Continue making links until you've reached your desired length (I made mine to be about 25"). Finish with a lobster clasp & jump ring.
See Tip: Wire Wrap a Bead Link
For the second necklace, begin with a piece of beading wire about 13" long. Make a loop at one end and secure with a crimp tube & crimp cover. String on labradorite rounds, apatite rounds, gold seed beads, and tourmaline puff coins.

See Tip: Using a Crimp Cover
Once you've almost reached the end of the wire, make another loop and secure with a crimp tube & cover. Use a jump ring to attach each end of the wire to 6" pieces of chain. Alternatively, you can loop the wire directly through the bottom link of chain & secure with a crimp tube, foregoing the use of the jump ring. Finish with a lobster clasp & jump ring.
