Lately I've been loving making layered charm necklaces- especially with these new charms we just received! Whether you use one or many, they're a great way to add extra interest to a simple beaded necklace.
Begin with a 7.5-8" piece of beading wire. Make a loop at one end & secure with a crimp tube & crimp cover. Next, make 12 bead charms with the seed beads & pink Czech glass rondelles. Slide the seed beads, green kyanite, and bead charms onto the wire in the order shown in the picture. Make a loop at the end & secure with a crimp tube & cover.
The second strand is made up of bead links using the seed beads & Czech glass. Use jump rings to attach the charms throughout. I made this strand about 12" long. Attach this strand & the strand from step one to 6.5" piece of chain with a jump ring. Repeat on the other side. Finish with a lobster clasp & jump ring.

For the thread strand, I started with a piece of thread about 30" long. Slide the beads on, securing with a double or triple knot above the bead & below the bead, so they stay in place. I left about an inch of space between each bead. To finish, knot each end around a jump ring & place a drop of glue on the knot to secure. Next, you can either attach the jump rings together if the necklace is long enough to go over your head, or you can attach a lobster clasp to one of the jump rings.
