Amethyst is one of my favorite gemstones, so I was really excited to design something with these nuggets. I paired them with pink opal, aquamarine, turquoise, seed beads, and silver accents.
Begin by sliding an amethyst nugget onto a headpin & make a bead charm. Next, use the wire & amethyst nuggets to make two bead links. Connect the first link directly to the charm and connect the second link directly onto the first link.

Use the wire to make bead links with the pink opal chips, aquamarine chips, Peruvian turquoise, amazonite, amethyst, and the silver tubes. Connect each link directly to one another. Continue making bead links until your bead chain is 6" long. Repeat to end up with two 6" long pieces of bead chain. Connect the chain to the top of the amethyst link with jump rings.
Next, slide a 4-4.5" piece of beading wire through the topmost bead link & secure with a crimp tube & cover. Slide on the seed beads. To finish, make a loop with the wire & secure with a crimp tube & cover. Repeat on the other side of the necklace. Attach jump rings & a lobster clasp to the ends.
