I was drawn to the gorgeous Pink Opal Teardrop this week. The soft pinks inspired me to use shell and Job's Tears which are gray hued with touches of pink.

One Strand of Job's Tears
One Pink Opal Faceted Drop
TOHO Bara Rose Seed Bead Mix
C-Lon Bead Cord or Waxed Linen will work also
Colorful Pectin Shell Pendant
Tiny Nassa Shell Charms for Embellishment
Clasp
Strand Wire
Crimp Tubes
Crimp Covers
Jump Rings

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Cut about 7" of the C-Lon or Waxed Cord. String on the seed beads, enough to make the bail big enough to fit over the Job's Tears beads.

Step 2

Tie a tight over hand knot to cinch the bail closed.

Step 3

Take the cord tails and string through the Pink Opal teardrop.

Step 4

String the Antique Silver Bali bead onto the cord then take the cord through the Pectin shell hole and back up to the silver bead. Tie a tight overhand knot, I add a little dot of superglue to secure my knots.

Step 5

Now you can trim your tails off or embellish them like I did. I strung on seed beads and Nassa shells, then tied a knot to secure them.
Now you can string your beautiful focal onto your Job's Tears strand.

Step 6

If you would like to restring the Job's tears onto stringing wire for a more secure and durable design you can, I added the components you will need to do this into the product list. Just string the beads onto the wire and through a crimp tube and jump ring, then back down through the tube. Now you crimp the tube and add the cover. Do the same to the other side.
