I wanted to use the teardrop focals in an interesting way. I liked the hammered textured element of the teardrops. I thought a wire-wrapped design would work nicely. The gemstone Chakra strands are an easy way to create a proper Chakra color layout, (purple to red). Check out our meaningful gemstones page to learn more about Chakra. Supplies you’ll need:

You will need 2 teardrop focals, a pair of ear wire, 24 gauge silver wire, I added two different sized spools of wire in the "buy these products list), half strand of crystal beads, I used the rock crystal bicones, 1 strand of energy tube Chakra gemstones, 1 ft of textured oval silver chain, half strand of 6mm lava rock beads, 2 jump rings, and a clasp. This includes what you need for the bracelet as well.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Cut about 8" of wire, start wrapping one end one wire around the teardrop focal. I wrapped it around 3 times. Slide a Chakra energy tube bead on, be sure you are start in the correct Chakra order. Step 2

Feed the wire through the bead and go up and over the teardrop and around again. Push the wrapped wire together to create a clean look.

Step 3

When you get to the end wrap the excess wire around 3 times to finish. Use wire cutters to trim off any excess wire on both sides.

Step 4

Slide s Rock Crystal Bicone onto a head pin.

Step 5

Use a pair of round nose pliers to create a small loop (big enough for your jump ring to go through). Wrap the excess wire around and trim.

Step 6

If you want to make the bracelet, slide the Chakra energy tube beads onto a 7.5" piece of wire.

Step 7

Move the beads close to one side, create a loop on the short end.

Step 8

Take the extra wire at the other end, you will need to create a first and wrapping it around the loop a couple of times, then start going around the beads on a diagonal.

Step 9

To create the lava bead links, just cut a 3" piece of wire, slide the bead on, wrap one end of the wire around a chain link to create a loop, then wrap the excess wire around and trim. Do this on both sides. I added a bead link in every 3 large ovals length. Just trim your chain to add your bead links where you want. Use jump rings to attach the chain to your Chakra link and to attach your clasp.
