When I first saw these new Czech glass beads, I knew I wanted to design something using all the colors- mostly because it was hard to pick just a few to use, but I also love how they all look together! For this layered necklace, I paired the Czech glass rounds with brass, pearl, & a gold focal.
Czech glass fire polished rounds (2mm & 3mm), beading wire, gold 24 gauge wire, gold headpins, brass tubes, crimp tubes & covers, mother of pearl tubes, gold circle frame, silver 3mm faceted round beads, lobster clasps, gold oval jump rings
Begin with a 21-22" piece of beading wire. Make a small loop at one end & secure with a crimp tube & cover. Slide the beads onto the wire in the order shown in the picture. I did groups of 5 Czech glass rounds & separated the colors with brass tubes. I also varied between using 2mm & 3mm. Make another loop at the end & secure with a crimp tube & cover. Attach a lobster clasp & jump ring to the loops at the end.
Use the headpins to make 5 bead charms. On each headpin, slide on a pearl tube, a brass tube, a purple 3mm Czech glass round, 2 blue 3mm Czech glass rounds, and a silver 3mm round bead. Attach the charms to the focal using the oval jump rings.

Make bead links using the Czech glass rounds. Some of the links I made have 2 beads, and some have 3. I also varied between using 2mm & 3mm beads. I made links with the pearl tubes & 3mm silver rounds as well. I made mine to be about 24" long. Attach the ends to the gold focal with jump rings, or attach the links directly to the focal.
