Bom Bom Beach Bracelet

Project details:
African brass adds organic texture and contour to my designs. The Linhasita cord adds a much needed color pop. Layer this bracelet with some brass chain or a braided Linhasita cord.
Supplies you’ll need:
You will need:
-3 rectangle African brass beads -2 colors of Linhasita 1mm cord in Sapphire & Sea Green -6/0 jet seed beads -8 faceted cubes -Green Girl octopus button
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1
Use a clipboard or somthing you can clip your cord to in order to keep it taught. Cut 3 feet of each cord color. Fold both cords in half, tie a loop at the top that will tightly fit around your button. Clip the loop to the clipboard.
See Tip: Tying the Square Knot
Step 2
Separate the cords to you have 2 colors in the center and one of each color on the outsides. Create 2 square knots. Slide on a bead and create two more square knots. Then slide on 3 seed beads over the two middle cords and bring the outside cords around and create 2 square knots.
Step 3
When you get o the rectangle beads, instead of bringing the cord over the sides, they just go along the back side instead. Then make 2 square knots to keep them in place.
Step 5
Tie on your button and slightly burn the cord with a lighter to secure your knots.
