These cute little bows and pearls are trending. I used pearls, but you could use Czech glass druks as shown in the second image above or faceted, or smooth round gemstones. You could make them any color as well, I thought a jet and silver bow would look elegant. I added the hearts for Valentine's Day.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • pearls
  • 2 silicone bails
  • 26 gauge wire
  • eye pins
  • hinged ear wire hoops
  • Czech glass hearts
  • 11/0 seed beads

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step

Step 1

Cut 8" of wire. Slide the beads on in the order shown. I did 7 pearls on each side.

Step

Step 2

Take the wire on the right side and bring it up and down through the bail.

Step

Step 3

Take the wire on the left and bring it up and down through the bail.

Step

Step 4

You will need to be gentle and work the wire through to tighten it to form the bow shape by pulling the wire down. Loosen it up again if you need to in order to tighten it up more. Now you can slide 4 pearls onto each tail hanging down.

Step

Step 5

Finish the end by sliding on a seed bead. Bend the wire over the side of the bead tightly, you can gently use pliers to help. Wrap the wire around tightly. Push down on the seed bead while tightening your wire. Trim any excess wire.

Step

Step 6

Use the eye pins to create a bead link out of the heart beads.

See Tip: Wire Wrap a Bead Link

Step

Step 7

Attach the bow to the ear wires.
