Recycled Skateboard Wood Bead Bracelet

Recycled skateboard beads are a fun twist to add to any of your favorite bracelet stacks. Each bead has vibrant, multilayered color patterns created by the original plywood laminates.

Supplies you’ll need:

1.5mm leather cord
linhasita metallic cord
1 Gaea ceramic rondelle
recycled skateboard beads

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Wrap the leather cord around your wrist twice and trim.

Step 2

Slide on about 18-19 skateboard beads depending on your wrist size.

Step 3

Create a loop with the leather on one end and knot. You can trim the excess leather now or at the end.

Step 4

Embellish the leather loop. Tie on a 8" piece of Linhasita to your leather loop to begin the single strand square knot. Let it lay to the right side of your leather loop.

Step 5

Create a loop with the Linhasita cord on the right side of your leather loop. Hold it in place.

Step 6

Take the tail of your Linhasita cord and feed it through the inside of the leather loop. You now have a loop of Linhasita on the right, with the tail going left.

Step 7

With the tail of the Linhasita cord in your left hand, take the cord over the leather loop and feed the tail of your Linhasita cord through the Linhasita loop you created. Pull tight. Repeat steps 5-7 until you’ve made it all the way around the leather loop. You’ll see the knots naturally form in a twist.
