The beautiful blues and earthy browns of the Argentina banded blue calcite faceted cubes bring a touch of sand and sea to this bracelet. This stack is ready for a nautical adventure.
Argentina blue calcite cube bracelet: Cut 20" of Linhasita cord. Tie a loop that will fit over the button on one end. Slide the beads on in the order shown. Be sure it fits your wrist. Tie an over-hand knot at the end. Feed the cord up through the button hole and back down through the other button hole. Wrap the cord around the base of the button towards the cubes and feed the cord through to create a barrel knot.
Argentina blue calcite cube bracelet (con't): To finish your loop you will be tie on a 8" piece of Linhasita to your loop to begin the single strand square knot. Let it lay to the right side of your cord loop. Image 1: Create a loop with the Linhasita cord on the right side of your leather loop. Hold it in place. Image 2: Take the tail of your Linhasita cord and feed it through the inside of the loop. You now have a loop of Linhasita on the right, with the tail going left. With the tail of the Linhasita cord in your left hand, take the cord over the leather loop and feed the tail of your Linhasita cord through the Linhasita loop you created. Pull tight. Repeat until you’ve made it all the way around the loop. You’ll see the knots naturally form in a twist. Tie a knot at the bottom of the loop. Cut the extra cord leaving a 1/8". Take a lighter and burn the knot tail so it gets soft enough to melt and seals the knot. Also slightly burn the knot by the button to seal it.
Leather cord and woven pearl bead bracelet: Cut a 12" piece of cord. I used a large eye leather needle or you could use a heavier collapsible needle to feed the beads onto the center of cord. Create a knot on either side of the beads to hold them in place. The beads are about an inch apart. Slide the silicone bead onto both cord ends. See how it fits over your hand to see how much cord you need to trim off. Slide the decorative matubo seed beads onto the cord and knot the ends. Trim off any extra cord.
Paperclip chain layer: Slide the Czech glass round onto an eye pin. Create a loop with pliers or a looper tool at the end. Fold the chain in half and cut one center link. I used 10" on both sides for this bracelet to wrap around my wrist 3 times. Open the loops on the bead charm (or use jump rings) and attach it to the chain. Use a jump ring to attach the lobster clasp. I created 3 little faceted gold round bead charms to add to the jump ring. Just slide the beads onto a head pin and create a loop at the top. Follow the tip below if needed.
