Cloisonné Beads

Cloisonné is an ancient decorative art technique originating in the Near East, popularized in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It involves soldering metal cloisons onto a surface to create compartments filled with colored enamel, yielding intricate designs. These brass beads have pre-made recessed areas for enamel, omitting the need for laborious metal cloison application. Each cloisonné bead is plated in a durable, rich gold finish before enamel is applied, resulting in stunning combinations of metallic gold with vibrant blues, greens, oranges, and yellows.
